Our daily life was not family-friendly
That’s why we quit!
Nele worked at a large company where career women were regularly sidelined as mothers.
Leon was self-employed, and the work never stopped.
We started our business as a family
We came up with the idea for Judes after the birth of our son. We didn’t want to use disposable diapers for him and couldn’t find a practical alternative.
But we also wanted to spend as much time as possible together as a family. That’s why we built our business in a way that allowed us to work only 4 hours a day each. Additionally, we split childcare and household tasks 50/50.
It worked perfectly!
We can hardly believe it ourselves...
...but Judes has now become the most recommended cloth diaper in German-speaking countries.
We can hardly keep up with the orders.
It’s still important to us that our daily work as founders aligns well with our family time.
#WorkLifeBalance is embraced throughout the entire Judes Family team
Currently, more than 12 people work for Judes Family. Most of them are Judes moms who are or have been diapering sustainably with Judes.
What unites us is that we are all parents and value flexible, family-friendly working conditions. We work 100% remotely and collaborate based on trust.
It works wonderfully – and makes Judes Family an attractive employer for many parents.
